Anyway, it has shed the third bolt since I got it a year and a half ago. Each time, it's a different location, too. This one is right next to the last one it had shed -- bottom of the engine cover/crank case or whatever you call it. Right behind the shifter (the shifter will have to be removed in order to replace the bolt). Of course, without that bolt, it now seeps oil out from there, which works its way onto the sprokets and thus the chain.
I don't even know the correct size bolt that's required. The last one was replaced by the bike shop when I last had the bike tuned up (or was it when I had the new rear tire put on?). Ah well, at least it isn't getting onto the tire itself, like I had when the bike was leaking out of everywhere.
Argh, I'm so far behind on work for this week. I spent about 12 hours Monday/Tuesday (in one sitting, until 9:30 a.m.!) doing Japanese translations for a guy who's making a mission generator for IL2: Forgotten Battles. I did a lot of research to find the correct military and aviation terms. Amazingly, even this English-to-Japanese dictionary I have that is meant for use by Japanese people (full kanji definitions, title and copyright info), which otherwise has more English words in it than even my English dictionaries have, did not have something so basic as "wingman"! Hiccups like that required a lot of research, or guessing possible kanji constructs and trying a Google search on them to see if they appear in Japanese web pages. But anyway, that kept me from working Monday, and I was still so tired Tuesday that I woke up late Wednesday, unable to get any work done before the daily shipments, and I've found that if I don't do work BEFORE the shipments, I never get round to doing work all night.
There was something else I wanted to say, and hoped I'd remember it when I wrote that last paragraph, but I didn't, so I can't remember it. Ah well.
