Time Event
3:37a
Guess I'll sleep...
It's funny how, when you've gone without sleep for so long, it seems like you don't really need it anymore.

I went to bed at 10 a.m. on Friday, but had to wake up at about 2 p.m. to get to work. Then I went to bed at about 6 a.m. Saturday and woke up at noon. Went to bed at 9 a.m. Sunday and woke up at 2 p.m. Went to bed at 7 a.m. Monday and woke up at 11 a.m. Went to bed at 6 a.m. Tuesday and woke up at 10 a.m.

Now it's close to 4 a.m. THURSDAY but I haven't been to bed. And I feel fine!
Of course, when penelopecat was here and I was having to talk, sometimes I'd make odd flubs, but otherwise, I'm not so bad. In the car I was really wanting to sleep but right now I feel like I really could just keep on going... but I shouldn't push it. Last time I went close to 48 hours without sleep, I ended up not being able to sleep more than two hours at a time for over two weeks.

That was a long time ago, though. I ended up being quite bored then -- nothing left to do! The world-wide web hadn't really caught on yet by then, and I hadn't become as prolific of a composer as I have these past few months. Now, there's plenty of things I could do to occupy my time. Like, oh, WORK like I'm supposed to be doing from home. I haven't been working on getting more products added to the http://microcontrollershop.com site like I'm supposed to. I keep finding other things to do, generally personal projects like that silly song parody recording of mine, or the more serious endeavor of working on my sheet music.

But anyway, now I'm just stalling. I guess I'll go to bed. It's quarter to 4 a.m. -- about a normal bedtime for me, really...

of course, I'll probably sleep for about 14 hours... erk, better not, 'cause I have customer orders to process and ship in the early afternoon...

OK, there you go -- a fairly "normal" blog entry from me. So rare though it is. There have been funny or interesting things I've thought of writing about, but never had the time, and once it's a few days past, it just doesn't have the same punch, to start out with "A few days ago, I saw this funny thing..."

'k, bye!
